Licensed Trade Charity - Helping Pub and Bar People

The following information is taken from the Licensed Trade Charity website.

Pubs and Breweries have been at the hub of British communities for centuries. Throughout this time, the Licensed Trade Charity has played an important role looking after those working in the industry, and will continue to do so as long as needed.

We are devoted to looking after people in the licensed drinks trade, providing support when you need it.  Our mission is to equip people to be self reliant, to provide them with the right guidance, and if necessary offer financial support, to help them get back on their feet, and on with their lives again.

We know from our research that there is a growing number of people who are likely to need help, and in different ways to how we might have supported them in the past.  Information and guidance on key problems like debt, housing and state benefits is needed, particularly in today’s tough economy. As the leading charity for those in the licensed trade we are making sure that through our website and our helpline we are as relevant today as we hope we have always been for those who need us most.
